Hi everybody!
Here we have a beet and cabbge borscht for lunch time. For those of you who don't know what borscht is, I will tell you. Borscht is a vegetable soup from Eastern Europe. To give it a deep red color it is, by tradition, made with beetroot. Some other bases used are tomato paste for orange borscht, or and the green (zelioni) borscht (sorrel soup). But in this case. my requestee wanted beet and cabbage. I noticed in my search of textures that they were all topped with sour cream, so sour cream is what the white stuff is. I sided it with breadsticks because I didn't know exactly what to serve it with, and I didn't want to just leave it alone.
