This is the first (and only home so far), that I styled after an actual floorplan.
I tried to get it as accurate as possible, given the limitations of The Sims 2
architectural tools, and I think I came pretty close.
There are two bedrooms downstairs, a full bath, a spacious dining area, a
fireplace in the cedar-floor livingroom, and a roomy kitchen. Upstairs is
another livingroom (also with cedar floors), a lounge area, a full bath and
three more bedrooms. At the rear of the house is a second story terrace
accessable from the rear 2nd floor bedrooms.
One set of stairs leads to the second floor. There are four decks, one on each
side of the house (the front deck is the most spacious, but the back deck is
partially covered by the second-floor terrace). Conifer trees and a lot of
landscape painting surrounds the house. There are also four small flower beds
at the front of the house.
Front of House:
Front of House Diagonal View
First Floor Top-Down View:
Second Floor Top-Down View:
I'm sure your sims will love this 'mountain retreat' home. It was a challenge to
build, considering the extreme side-roof angles, but it was fun. Enjoy!

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
