Well, here is number 4 in my Mulberry Duplex Collection. I have to boast that this is the first lot I have built that I have successfully built a house on a foundation with an attached garage!!! Yay me!!
Both apartments are exactly the same in layout and also in furniture and color choice. Each apartment can comfortably house a family of 4. There is also a spacious yard for each apartment to have freetime activities. I did use a few items of custom content but I only used build content which is listed below. This Duplex is also hack free!!
Each Apartment Includes:
3 Bedrooms
2 1/2 Bathrooms
Kitchen
Dining Room
Living Room
Family Room
Study
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
--I used Numenor's Any Game Starter to create this awesome lot. So, indeed this lot only requires Apartment Life to work. A link will be provided to the Any Game Starter in the additional credits section.
--Please, whatever you do, please do not put a gate into the fences. Read this tutorial for more information on this request. Also, read that same tutorial on how to rent an apartment that is furnished.
--Also, the step down off of the back patio into the enclosed backyards is functional and has been playtested when lot is zoned as an Apartment. It works perfectly fine! Read this small tutorial on how this was accomplished. It will be reply #306. If you should delete the stairs and need to replace them please follow that tutorial it is very quick and easy to follow!
--In order to place cars into the garage, you have to place them while in residential zone mode. I would recommend downloading the residential file to do this. Once, the lot is zoned residential place the vehicle(s) onto the driveway(s). Then press CTRL, SHIFT, C to bring up the cheat box and type "changelotzoning apartmentbase" without the quotation marks. Hit save and return to the neighborhood screen. You will then be able to go back into the lot and it will be zoned as an apartment as well as the vehicles being in the driveway, completely playable.
