I'm not from America myself and my "American" creations are therefore just the image of what I believe is one kind of American style. My inspiration comes actually from GTA San Andreas and Vice City. I love those old slum houses where the gangsters live.
This house is a bit cleaner though, but have still an old look. It maybe looks simpler than it actually is... But I have spent a lot of time to get the perfect American design. As you maybe can see on the picture bellow, I had to squeeze a whole floor between the two main floors, just to make a perfect platform to the balcony. The roof over the porch looked also better with that solution.

Also the interior design might look simple. There was however a nightmare to find a good way of using the area. Not to mention the extra long staircase that stole a lot of valuable squares. I couldn't have the dining room upstairs, and not the livingroom and the bathroom either. Finally I found a way to make all those things fit, but I was really afraid that the house wouldn't be playable.
Making the house narrow and crowdy was actually one of the most important creteria. That creates a cozy inside environment and it looks cuter from outside.
So I have put a lot of thoughts and work into this house, and since it is a starter home, it bacame even harder. As an extra bonus there are no custom content included.
I hope you'll like it!
