SCREENSHOTS
Part 4 of my Willow River project. Fits opposite Willow River Plaza.
Willow Breeze Towers features the following:
8 units, 4 lofts and 4 efficiencies;
clean, modern lines;
no shared walls;
upscale common area.
Level 1: The lobby with two-story atrium and access to 2 elevators and 2 stairwells; well-appointed library and club room; pool/gym area with spa and sauna; sun deck with barbecue and basketball court.
Level 2: Playground.
Level 3: Loft entrances.
Level 4: Efficiency entrances with sky walk.
All units laid out and fully furnished in more or less identical fashion, differing only in color scheme. Fully play-tested.
Well, I know my last few lots were at CC Defcon 5 and I promised a CC free Apartment but I just couldn't do it. There was literally nothing in the Maxis catalog that I could substitute to get this look. I kept is as minimal as possible. The list seems like a lot but it's really only a window set, blinds, a border and a floor tile. You should already have RGiles' tile and since you have my Willow River Sports Complex you have all the rest :-)
Ole's factory blinds come in 2 more lengths and 3 more recolors and Jimbo64's Malibu Windows come in 5 more recolors. To meet the moderators' requirements I could not include these all for you. They are must have items and you should go get the whole set...you will find yourself using them over and over.
Lot Size: 4x4

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Bubbajoe's Lots
My lots are built to be functional in-game.
My lots are built to be played in cut-away view.
While building my lots, I aim for a clean, crisp appearance while maintaining visual interest and good sight lines.
No filters, no photo actions. What you see is what you get.
I can do Maxis-match but I usually prefer to recreate something in real life.
Which is weird because I generally avoid English and RL images in Sim clothing and decor.
I had a lot more verbiage describing my philosophy of Sim-architecture and ended up sounding absolutely insufferable so to paraphrase Coco Chanel:
before leaving the house, a lady should look at the accessories and remove one mirror.
No restrictions on TOU. If you claim my stuff as your own or try to monetize it, you have bigger problems than I do.
