UPDATES
- 2/17/2009 values are now more reasonable, only Serious Sims should prefer books instead another sources of fun, however, any other sim may pick a book for read, speacially if there isn't any other source of fun nearby. (bookstore, libary, eletronicless houses).
- 2/14/2009 *fixed* Discuss Books autonomy no longer supported. Restored to their default state.
- 2/13/2009 *fixed* Sims should now stop Writing in Diary when their Social reachs 100%. Reading a book will now increase Fun until 100%, instead stopping at 87.5%. And another slight changes...
DESCRIPTION
This mod, basicly adds desirability in Freetime books, and Sims will eventually do stuff with them, being it controlable or not.
- Neat Sims will consider reading a Cooking Book more often.
- Children books should be readen by children and those Playful Sims who often play Pirates in their bathtubs.
- Serious Sims should read any other genres at same rate.
- Write in Diary desirability was also modified, Teens should do this more often than other ages, specialy if this particular Sim is Shy and are looking for some Social interaction. (Visitors shouldn't do this at all as default setting.)
- College Research should be slightly less attractive to Sims, specially if they aren't serious people.
- Laying Books will be considered to be readen more often.
- Sims should again consider reading a book autonomously when relaxing in a bed.
COMPATIBILITY
This mod should only be used if you have Apartment Life + Freetime installed. However, you can still use it with AL only, but you won't get much since the majority of the modifications are Freetime content.
I'm still testing this mod, If you notice any bug/odd behavior please do tell.
