Albany House - CC Free

Albany House is a big house on a small lot - a 1x1 lot to be precise! Created for a mini-challenge between friends in the #create IRC chat, the aim of Albany House is to provide easy family living on a plot of land that could be theoretically placed in any small area. Currently, the house has space for up to 4 adult sims, or 2 adults and 2 children. However, there is space to accomadate an expanding family, as with all of my lots =]

The house mixes neutral tones with splashes of colour to create a welcoming, warm environment. By entering the house through the bright, sunny kitchen, you can either go straight up to the first floor, or out to the small back garden. The garden itself has a slide and RC car for children and the young-at-heart to play with, a flower arranging bench for skillbuilding, and an apple tree and gardening plots to keep the 'fridge well-stocked with produce.

Up the first flight of stairs, the spacious family lounge can be found. With comfortable chairs, a full bookcase and a chess table, the area is perfect for unwinding after a long day. The childs or second bedroom can be found just off of the communal area, and has it's own small ensuite shower room.

Going up the stairs again brings you out into a neat office space, with access to the small outer balcony through french doors. The main bathroom is also situated on this floor, next to the master bedroom. The master bedroom itself has a small ensuite WC, which can be removed to provide space for a cot or bassinette if needed. The flight of spiral stairs leads up to the rec room in the attic. Currently a rather mixed room, furniture-wise, the space could easily be converted into a third bedroom to provide extra space for the growing family.

Totally CC-free, the price for this lot is a little steep at 71,238, but you are getting an awful lot for your money! During the playtesting process (on a copy, naturally) I had 7 sims altogether on this lot, with a lucrative sideline in selling off excess veg from the garden. The house contains skillbuilders for all points, as well as 3 different ways to earn talent badges. Not bad for a 1x1 square!

Lot Size: 1x1
