Updated: 10th Jul 2009 at 6:54 PM - Wanted to specify that this mod will not conflict with either of the two popular core mods (AwesomeMod and IndieStoneMod)
This mod increases the duration of the "Good Meal", "Great Meal", and "Excellent Meal" buffs from the default 8 hour duration to either a 24-, 36-, or 48-hour duration depending on which package file you install. Why? Because EAxis remembered to increase the default 7-hour Squeaky Clean buff to something around 26-ish hours when you take the "Dirt Defiant" lifetime award, but they forgot to increase the default 8-hour Good/Great/Excellent Meal buff by even a tiny bit when you take the "Hardly Hungry" lifetime award.

This mod makes Hardly Hungry useful and desirable, but it does have the mild downside of essentially giving a permabuff to your Sims that don't yet have Hardly Hungry. I feel this is a good tradeoff, but your mileage might vary.

Which Package Should I Use? the 24-, 36-, or 48-hour one?

Once you take the "Hardly Hungry" lifetime reward, your Sim will go for 48 hours before it becomes hungry enough to autonomously eat again. So choose the package that confers the amount of buffed time before your Sim will auto-eat that you feel gives you the best gameplay value. The following list can help you decide:

Decay rates when you have the Hardly Hungry reward:
* By 24 hours after eating, the motive bar for hunger will be at the 66% mark.
* By 36-hour after eating, the motive bar will be at the 50% mark.
* By 48 hours after eating, the motive bar for hunger will be at the 33% mark,
and the Sim now has a high chance to autonomously eat.

Note: If you use a cheat such as AwesomeMod's "maxmotives", the decay rates will be slower than listed above. The listed decay rates occur only if you actually eat food to top off the hunger motive bar.

What Might This Mod Conflict With?

This mod is a simple XML tuning of the Cooking resource (0xDFD048952E802DB0) from the GameplayData.package. Therefore, it can only conflict with another mod that uses the same resource, which at the time this mod was originally posted consisted of exactly 0 other mods. Yes, this mod is fully compatible with AwesomeMod or IndieStoneMod too.
