Tired of squiggly little cat tails on your scaly sims?
Check this out!
Check this out!
After much dissatisfaction with scaly versions of Atreya's cat tail mesh, I finally decided to make my own. This tail is thick at the base and tapers to a point at the tip - perfect for any reptilian sims you've got roaming your neighborhoods.
Right now it's in a bit of a trial stage. I haven't perfected a toddler mesh, and the meshes provided may have issues I haven't discovered yet. I welcome you to try them out, enjoy them thoroughly...
They're showerproof and have a unique ID set that ensures that you can wear them with glasses and whatnot. As with any rigid tail mesh, there are some clipping issues (tails go through chairs and stuff), but it's a step up from having tail-less scalies! The tails are so thick at the base that they tend to gobble up clothing a bit. Just choose your outfits wisely.
The object package included uses a scaly green texture that matches my dragon skintone, so be sure to make good use of it! :D
Please let me know of any issues you might encounter. I hope to have a full age set that passes on smoothly through generations in the near future. If anyone has tips on getting toddler meshes to fit, let me know! PMs are welcome.
Polygon Counts:
Adult, Teen and Child meshes have 436 polygons each.
Additional Credits:
Thanks to Genensims for the base texture!
Horns featured are by Kitara & Marvine.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.

Draccy's Lair
Hi there.
You can call me Draccy for short.
I specialize in making non-human skintones and accessory recolors, particularly scaly ones. You'll find that most of my work is geared towards what is most unavailable in the Sims 2 modding community.
I'm experimenting with accessory meshing, though SimPE does not make it a simple task to implement newly created mesh data when it comes to working with accessories, so my progress is slow.
Requests
I'm happy to take requests from those who would like to see their ideal parts created for them. My primary focus in this field involves skintones and recolors, and I don't do humans. I only accept requests for the unusual and exotic.
I'm no huge fan of meshing and if what you want is not in high demand then I probably won't be willing to do it. Regardless, all of my work is free.
If you're a fur or if you otherwise have some sort of character you would like created, don't hesitate to send me a note. I do personal skintones and recolors where applicable. All I ask in return is appreciation for my efforts, but don't expect items like these to be uploaded unless they're a fairly general design that many people could appreciate.

I've recently moved on to playing TS3, and may or may not discontinue my work with TS2 altogether. Until I can do what I could with TS2, I won't really be interested in doing much for TS3. |
