It has to match! *twitch*
I developed a paranoid complex while making these, as I am sure that you all have your own versions of them in your games but you just didn't tell me. (Yeah, I know you have.)
Still, having waded back into the mists of time in the MTS S2 'Walls' section, I couldn't find anything identical hidden on here (all the way back to 2004, I went...there were 224 pages to look through... 224!!). So, without any further meltdown on my part, here we go with the decor:
1) Nurseries
EAxis gave us lilac "Hopalong" and "Crayons" walls that did not match any of the base game crib recolours; I don't know why they didn't make a blue... Their pale cream version was also a bit too pale for my liking - I wanted a sturdier yellow to match that yellow crib! So, I made up "Hopalong" and "Crayons" paint walls in "Sunny Yellow" and "Bonny Blue" to match the cribs. Both cost $5 per strip. Their matching "Sunny Yellow" and "Bonny Blue" carpets also cost $5 per tile.
2) Matchers
I never thought any of the game's pink walls truly matched that base game pink'n'flowery bedding, so made up a plain one with a white skirting board. $5 per strip.
Given the busy-ness of the Bon Voyage green bedding, I wanted a plain lime wall with white skirting to match it. A murky green carpet was provided by the game, but I made up a brighter one to better please my eyes. You don't need BV to use these. $5 each.
3) Pines
My Old Blues Pine wall matches a variety of EAxis bedding and looks wonderful in pretty much every room in the house.
My Slumbering Pine wall will perfectly match that mixed-up bedding we must surely all recognise and, again, looks great anywhere in a home.
Both the Pines are $10 a piece.
Every wall/floor is clearly labelled, so you can delete the ones you don't want.
And that's it! Sleep easy, people of Sim City, for your rooms match better now...

Most objects made by EA/Maxis, except...
* Clutter - including adorable toy clutter! - by Steffor at Avalon Sims (URL: http://jaue.com/avalon/)
* Hemnes Double Bed and Roman Shade Bedding Match, both by Huge Lunatic (http://linna.modthesims.info/member.php?u=368179)
