Just because a sim's first sewing project is a basic potholder, it does not mean that she cannot create something beautiful out of it.
Here are 18 recolours for the potholder made using the sewing machine in FreeTime, so obviously FreeTime is required.
Your sims can give them away to friends and family, or sell them in their craft shop. As with all crafted objects, you can choose the colour when any one potholder is completed. Additionally, you can use the design tool to change the colour of existing potholders as well, just as with any standard object.
Some traditional ones:
Some with fruit:
Some less traditional ones:
The rest is in the thumbnails.
Also included is a fix to change the way the potholder is mapped. The tag was mapped to the middle of the potholder, which did not look good with patterns. Now it's outside the main body and can be given a solid colour. It also changes the original colours slightly, but it's hardly noticeable.
Just put it in with the recolours, it will not change anything else.
