After a long time of Sim-inactivity and the decision to put way too large a building project on hold, I ended up actually playing some Sims. And since they procreate like rabbits, I quickly ran out of houses, requiring me to step up and give them homes. And the results of that, I figured I might as well share.

So here is one of the two recent creations: The Today-Chateau
(Stupid name, I know.)

It is a rather luxurious home with a groomed, somewhat symmetric garden, an open and large ground floor and an expensively furnished upper floor. Every room has a certain color theme to it. Just see for yourself. :p

House includes:
  • garage
  • small basement
  • small BBQ-area
  • dining hall
  • kitchen
  • large balcony
  • living room
  • shower
  • toilet
  • bathroom
  • 2 bedrooms

The garage is just that, a garage. Like... for a car and stuff.

The basement includes a tiny bathroom with a shower, a nectar-storage opportunity and some recreational items for your Sims to escape to.

The only thing outside to do is a small BBQ-area, the rest of the garden is all groomed and for looks only.

The entire ground floor is made up of a small foyer, a dining hall, a kitchen and a small guest-toilet. It's a great place to entertain guests, with high windows encircling both kitchen and dining hall.

Generally, the house is packed with large windows, making it bright and inviting.

The upper floor is, compared to the ground floor, much cosier. Again, windows open up the somewhat narrow living room making an almost fluent transition to the vast balcony (which, in my case, overlooks the Riverview river). A luxurious bathroom gives plenty of space to relax in and the master bedroom is almost a small living room by itself.
From the balcony you can reach another bedroom which is built for teens.

I hope you enjoy it. As always any kind of feedback is welcome.

Good luck and have fun.
