Part two of my default replacement dinnerware set is a small set of rimmed plates. Paired with the white base, these have just enough color to make them stand out on the dinner table.

Each set has a decorative rimmed plate design (both platter and dinner plate share the same texture) complemented by a bowl of solid color. Nothing "special" has been added to the dinnerware; the sims will eat, serve, clean them like normal.

In case you're wondering why the bowls aren't rimmed as well, it's because EA is lazy. Instead of mapping the insides and outsides of the bowl separately, they simply invert the inside texture on the outside. Meaning the outside of the bowl would look...odd. This is not a problem for the plates since you rarely get to see the sides.

As the title says these are default replacement meaning you can only have one custom plate design in your game!

Google for the images. S3PE and Photoshop 7.0.

But I don't like any of these colors!!

I didn't really add a lot of recolors because a) these were the colors I liked the best, and b) it's extremely easy to make your own recolors. Simply extract the textures using S3PE and use the Hue/Saturation sliders to change the colors around.
