What it is? A STBL override mod. It's a simple XML tuning mod, changing default sim names to common, english ones.
It replaces strings in the DeltaBuild0.package [TGI:220557DA-00000000-0080EA7B0A2EAE3F]
This name replacement mod includes thousands of most common english names from past 30 years.
I duplicated some of the names, so there’s a higher chance for the game to generate a sim name Heather Williams or David Brown than less common combinations. It does not include exotic and random names, which EA provided…
(so, that means, no more ShaSha MacDonald or Tennyson Yamamoto)
Some game-generated combinations:
female: Anna Smith, Jessica Palmer, Sue Willis, Becky Anderson, Dana Sherwood, Evelyn Tucker, Kate Saunders, Faye Harrison, Hayley Young, Alice Andrews, Caroline Brooks, Mia Sullivan, Abigail Faulkner
male: Benjamin Rowland, James Fenton, Nathan Morrison, Ethan Thorpe, Jake Holmes, Jonathan Barnes, Noah Gilmore, Liam Ross, Ryan Tanner, Connor Holloway, Tyler Hammond, Aidan Redmond.
Works fine with all game versions and all languages.
Compatible with core mods, but it will conflict with any other name replacements, so remember - you can have only one!
