This house has a big grand pool hanging in mid air as it's main feature, but it's frankly all the rest that is the best. To give the house some character I've used the Store's Safari and Cambodian sets along with some downloads from ShinoKCR and Jomsims.
It has 3 double bedrooms, a nursery and a master suite. The main basement faces the pool in many places and you can see people swimming from the gamesroom, sauna, TV hallway and the master suite.
Floorplan:
I will make it easy for you with the floorplan This is what it will feel like strolling round the house, it looks a little different on the floorplan.
Upper Floor Contains:
2 bedrooms sharing a bath.
Main Floor Contains:
Summer and Winter livingrooms and between them a sundeck by the pool.
Hobby Livingroom with outside diningtable and the kitchen behind it.
Master livingroom with it's own sundeck.
Main Basement Contains:
Gamesroom with library and gym.
Safari bar with big bathroom, sauna and the media room.
Master bedroom with bathroom and dressing hallway,
Nursery in the hill corner and a double bedroom ensuite facing the slope.
Sports area with terrace and hottub.
Lower Basement Contains:
Big Garage for you bikes or boats, or perhaps even cars.
The house has been built on a sloped lot in my own world Castle Island V2. If you download make sure it's the right version. It's a basegame map, you have to make or download houses to make it a hood to play in. It should be very possible to put it in a different hood since it's sitting on a foundation. The slope should then be 2 regular walls high from street level. That is to have room for the basement garage. If you choose to do that you need to be prepared for a bit of cleaning up along the sides of the lot. To be able to adjust the house height from the street you can use the cheat "setimportedterrainoffset 2", the number is a suggestion, just replace it with numbers above or below zero til you find the height from streetlevel you want. Bring up the cheat console using ctrl+shift+C on your keyboard.
Warning: it's a rather complicated construction, but it only has one room where it's visible. For that reason you should not paint the ceiling in this house, you will probably end up with annoying ceiling tiles in odd places.
This video has been made in the first sims3pack version. The mediaroom has either bamboo or traditional panel walls. The kitchen has 2 short walls with a dense fabric, the difference is hardly visible. The outside has a dense shiney fabric on some walls and they are absent in this video, it's just white.
FILES
S3P-2: This is the launcher file, it saves you some work. You still need to know how to use package files though. I'm sorry about that. New file uploaded because the first one just wasn't what I originally thought.
Package: Here you have to install what you want yourself.
Downloads List
CC to be downloaded:
This applies to both versions:
Exoticelements3, Bamboo and Pottery pattern: http://www.exoticelements3.org/search/label/Patterns
The vertical Bamboo has been used many places in the house and only comes in package files.
Gardenbreeze, Cozy Corner patterns: http://www.blackpearlsims.com/showt...ll=1#post853180
It only comes as package files. It's for the kitchen and details outside. I used the cream colored dense pattern on the right, and the white shiney has been used outside on details.
Lunasimslulamai, patrones de madera: for the S3P version this has been replaced with the Bamboo because it wouldn't install.
Luna, luna patrones de madera2 27/08/09: http://lunasimslulamai.jimdo.com/patterns/
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/l...+de+madera2.rar
It's used in the mediaroom and library. It's the old square dark wood pattern in a new look. For the S3P version I just used the bamboo pattern from ExoticElements in the Mediaroom because Luna wouldn't install. It looks very good and saves you an installation. Compare the two last pictures uploaded to see the difference.
Edit: Luna's mediafire links are all dead, thank medifire for that. Download together with the house file under the Files fan.
The rest you can download from the upload engines list from the S3P file below.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
