Welcome to paradise! Let your carbon footprint take a vacation too ~ while you bask in this tropical splendor!

Here at Amelia's, 'green' is the theme. This resort is virtually built completely from locally grown and harvested bamboo* Our glassless windows and ceiling fans allow the island breezes to keep you cool both indoors and out. Solar panels discretely decorating roofs throughout the resort generate all the electricity that is needed. And, the lagoon is actually a carefully maintained fish farm - everything we need is all right here! Come join us for a while and feel good about your vacation destination.

Our beautiful rooms feature both double beds, and twin single beds, a full bath, a well stocked kitchen - with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and grill (outside.) All furnishings are made out of eco-sustainable bamboo* and cotton/hemp fabric. Computers and flat-screen TV are included for your convenience. There is plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the ambiance

*"When it comes to sustainability, bamboo has traditional lumber beat in every category... Bamboo is clocked as the fastest growing plant on Earth. Some species have been measured to grow over 4 feet in 24 hours. A pole of bamboo can regenerate to its full mass in just six months!" - quote from the web.

Whew! I cut this close - too close. I am literally just a few hours away from the deadline. Truth be told, I almost gave up - but, my love of stickers kept me going :lovestruc
My original idea was for this to be a "swimmable" lagoon - with exploratory diving expeditions and all. Yeah. That didn't happen...
When I finally realized my mistake, there wasn't enough time to start over. So, I took out the "Shrimp Shack" (tropical food stand) and put in the pool instead. It will just have to do. Magically, room service still works even without a hotel kitchen - so my sims didn't mind at all. I thoroughly tested everything out, and it's all good.

Fishing can be a bit fiddly - it can only be acomplished from the parking lot right now. There is a mod (HERE) that might work, I didn't have a chance to try it though.

Walking around the 'boardwalk' is also kinda fiddly - I didn't want a gazillion poles/pilings standing around in the water, so I removed the unnecessary ones... which means if you want to direct your sim to stand in a particular spot around the lagoon, you must choose a spot over a pole/piling - or the game will ask you if you want to fish or sunbathe. Sorry about that

Oh, and since it's a hotel - and sims can't drive their own car while on vacation the parking lot is deco only. K? If you want to change this to an apartment lot and add a driveway, I would suggest using: Tiny Filesize Invisible Driveway by Sophie-David @ MTS2.

Numenor's Unlevel Wall - #90 (only necessary if walls are missing - it means I used the unlevel wall instead of "CFE" while building. If walls are missing, exit without saving and add Numenor's Unlevel Wall to your DL folder before loading this lot again)
