cost reduction has never been push to such limits!! 3 storeys for $19865?!! i believe that so far the only person on MTS2 who had done it before is Numenor with his house Gorges du Loup.
built on a 2x2 lot, this fully furnished house has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in total. it also has a combined dinning room and kitchen as well as a bathroom on the ground floor.
the first floor consists of a bathroom, a bedroom and a computer desk.
the second floor is actually a cramped space but i managed to squeeze in a single bed and a bathroom.
there is actually a little secret to building a cheap starter house, and i believe Numenor and cevic and a few more people had already discovered it. the secret is by using roofs instead of walls. i noticed that roofs do not cost a single cent when i built a roof for my sis, and it was confirmed when i studied Numenor's Gorges du Loup (to be honest, this lot is actually inspired by it.)
this lot is free of hacks but contains a custom object. it is the Paradise sims Private mirror. apart from that there is nothing else. i checked it and stripped down all unwanted stuff with clean installer. this lot does not require university ep.
*update april 30 : upon request, i added a snapshot with stairs circled in red. i also added a zip version.
