I have had quite a few people message me regarding pregnant women giving birth at the hospital. Well, since I designed it a community lot pregnant women cannot give birth here. However, a friend reported that they changed the lot into residential and moved in a family of 5 medical staff (2 doctors/3 nurses) and then hired some more sims to be nurses, etc. When they want their pregnant women to give birth they move them into the hospital (right at the beginning of the 2nd bump). They call their families to visit. After the baby is born they move back into their home. This sounds like a great idea to me and Im going to test it for myself. Thought I would share it with anyone who might also like to try it.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

This is not an expansion pack, it is just a community lot. It is primarily for storytelling, videos and old-fashioned pretending. If you would like Drs/Nurses, create a 'family' of them and have them purchase the lot as a business and hire employees to work in it for the cafeteria and pharmacy, etc.

If you would like your pregnant sim to give birth at the hospital please read my note on the 'overview'.

Do you by any chance work (or if your too young) or know somone who works in a hospital because this is very detailed work. One of the best sim hospitals I have seen yet. Very well done. You should be extremely proud of your work. *hug*

I dont think I downloaded this right. I saved the lot as a rar. thing then I right clicked the file and clicked extract here. That's what I do for all my other files but when I went into my game the hospital wasn't in the lot bin. What did I do wrong? What do I do to make the hospital appear in my lot bin for use?
