This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
To celebrate my 10 millionth download here on MTS, I wanted to make something I think a lot of people would like, and also something a bit older, to signify the great years that I've been on this wonderful site. So I present to you the classic 1973 Volkswagen Beetle. Hope you guys like it, and many thanks to all the people who download, thank and comment my items! It is very much appreciated!

It will cost your sims $7,000 for this history making machine. It has three recolorable parts; the body, the outer part of the wheels, and the interior. It can be found in the vehicles section. This is also is updated for the latest patch/Pets.

Enjoy!

Includes 6 preset colors:

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I've downloaded many of Fresh-Prince's automobiles over the years with my Sims2 game. Now I've got my first Fresh-Prince car for Sims3. Thank you for your creations over the years. You've done some great work with these cars.

However, I will be a wee bit critical with this 1973 VW Bug. I feel that the nose is just a little long for a VW Bug. Still I like it and will add it proudly to my collection of Sims3 custom content.

Now how about a Benz? My Sims got spoiled driving your Benz's in Sims2 and they want them for Sims3.

First, I like this car as much as the people before me.
But I´ve got one question: Will you make a Herbie vinyl recolour?
That would be great.

First off, Congo Rats on 10 million you've done a stellar job of converting these meshes, for which thanks.
Second, I used to own a 1970 VW 1300 Automatic in white with red interior, so slightly different then this model, but close enough, great memories of a car that I unfortunately only had a little over a year as the previous owner made a complete mess of the wiring and electrics.

P.S. I currently own a '86 Mini that won't start half of the time

This is terrific! I absolutely love these cars in real life, and your mod does them justice. The only thing I don't love is the license plate...is there any way you could make the plate in Simlish?... I like to keep all my Sims languages the same :x

Please and thank you lots
