Candle-Town Uptown

Hi folks,
I present you a new part of Candle-Town: The Uptown

Expansion Pack 1 (world adventures) required
Saved with game version
Size: 60x60
Furnished: 496,115
Unfurnished: 361,425

Some Details:

Brewery, Town Administration, Training Hall, The Great Hall, Mayors house,
a small house, two bigger homes, empty house for your purposes

Kitchen garden, small field, butterflies and moth, some bugs, frogs, two secret doors, two parking lots,
a placa with outdoor chess, small park, field of honor (losers have to deal with HugeLunatics Guillotine)
all: the fire of Amon Din , the witchburner, and fountains are activated by triggers along the walls

1st of May >>> "Candle-Town Uptown Update.rar"
- Replaced one small garden with a pool
- Edited the river, now sims can walk along the water > shorter ways

5th of July Ambitions only >>> "Candle-Town - Uptown (AMBITIONS).rar"
- Noticed: importing old lots into an Ambitions installation couses some problems, now I've uploaded a Ambitions-ready file
- Added a new big room for the sim-gnub-game
- Fixed the fish-seeds
- Removed three not accessable objects
- Added some washing machines and clotheslines
- Now, uses the skeleton that came with Ambitions
- Look at page three in the comments for the updated pictures

When you place the lot in your world, have a close look at the ground painting,.. if you feel it doesn't look right, then please turn the lot around before placing! That's a general problem when placing lots with ground paint, it has nothing to do with my lot.

Tested with my 8 sim family.
Have fun!

CC Stuff seen on the pictures but NOT included:
Thanks to HugeLunatic for the Guillotine:
The skeleton from , scroll down a bit.
You can also use the skeleton from Ambitions (thanks to morten8035 for reminding me)

EA Store items used:
Buy stuff:

Castle Door: 100 SimPoints (looks better with!!!)

Banner: 25 SimPoints (looks better with!!!)

Shield and sword: 25 SimPoints (just deko)

Fake-Wood: 25 SimPoints (just deko)

Treasure chest: 25 SimPoints (just deko)

The tower top: Seems it's included in the castle outdoor set. If you don't have the castle outdoor set, don't panic, I have constructed a normal pointy roof beneath, the only thing you have to do is, delete the default replacement.

Free Store Stuff:
Thanksgiving: free (just deko)

Arch: free (used in the placa and on top of the tower)

Day of the earth: free (plants)

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Could be a barrel and a wooden postbox thing (like the cities have in these days)

You are a simmer after my own heart! Please make me a "world" with a bunch of your lots to fill it with! You could make them connect with landscaping like in your "lot towns"
that would be SO AWESOME!!! i love your stuff, never stop creating!

anyway, great job

@pegasaus Please get over yourself. First of all, in the dark ages people were ignorant and burned innocent people because they didn't understand science, that seemed like "magic". If there was anything supernatural going on it was the devil and his demons, not the people. Second of all, it is just an accurate representation of what a medieval town would probably look like. Have you not heard, "don't kill the messenger" ? Just because candlelight82 created this "witch burner" (which I think it is hilarious by the way that you can turn it off and on with a switch because of WA) does NOT mean they hate people who call themselves witches, even though that is ridiculous (IMO). Sure it is fun to pretend that magic is real, and read Harry Potter and all that jazz. But there is no reason to get all uptight pegasaus. This is just custom content for a GAME.

What about making a mail box like the poor box on disney's robin hood except instead of a small slot for coins, a wider one for mail. would have to make new animations though. dunno if it would work. could even have MAIL or POST carver/ wood burned into the side.

could just put the box on a post instead of that chair-like thing it on in the movie. Here's a clip of it, skip to 4:44 where the mouse's wife gives her coin to friar tuck.

Wow, this town is amazing! Impressive! If only I didn't have to *buy* anything or search through other peoples' sites to download objects to get the full effect of this upscale uptown you've made. :/ Pity. But, oh well. I'll survive. Really just came to applaud your work and be on my way. :] Have a good one!

This looks like it would be a nice South Figaro for my Final Fantasy 6 sims.
