Very cool! LOL, I can start a sim at the "top" and use another cheat to keep him/her there.

I like the concept of the job, but not necessarily the backwards part. great job thank you for sharing it.

What an original idea! I really like the backwardness of it. The challenge is to get promoted as fast as you can because its just way too easy to make money in the game. Thanks for sharing.

How weird...but I dig it!
Thanks for sharing - you should make some more jobs for us too...maybe "normal" ones this time 'cause you seem to have a knack for the descriptions and chance cards.
Good Job once again - keep up the good work!

I like the idea...athough if anything, the wage doesn't go down fast enough But great idea...love the descriptions, too.

A fresh idea, I like it, thanks!
If you feel like doing more careers, please consider doing a realistically sounding "serious" career with no insane pay, if you have some free time on your hands :D. I'd really like to have a career for "poor Sims", so that even when they reach the top they don't get too much, this way it would make sense to marry a poor Sim to a rich one :D. Unfortunately there are no truly bad jobs in Sims 2 with small pay

I'm happy to make a serious career if there's a good idea behind it. I have already uploaded a Winemaking one, and am working on an Oil Baron (at somebody else's suggestion), both are 'normal'. If you have any ideas please let me know

A 'poor' sim career? Hmm...I'll see what I can do!

Everything is ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end.

CrazySheep, I liked your wine making career, too Well, I don't really know at the moment what would make a poor career, otherwise I'd try to suggest something. It should be something very realistic, like in real life I guess, something that a person without higher education would do! But obviously it would be a little difficult to make up 10 levels for, say, a flaw sweeper or a librarian , so something more interesting is needed. But basically I think that any job would do, if only sims don't become "the best" in the end, like becoming a company owner when in the beginning they were a mere shop assistant, or a celebrity chef in in culinary career track...
Anyway, I have one idea (not about a poor career), but am not sure whether I should voice it, it's a little crazy. But well, I saw a drug-dealer career here, so if such things are ok for this site, then this one must be ok, too... What I had in mind is a hooker career for romance sims Not sure if everybody would like it, but it would be pretty fun to make a romance sim try it, they always want such things anyway, so why not give them such a career? It could start with a cheap model or night club dancer, then move on to a strip-dancer or something, and "good" promotions at the last levels could include something like a superstar in erotic movies . At least it sounds more respectable than other levels in such a career would, and the end of a career should sound respectable. The main skills would be charisma and body then. What do you think?

Wow, I wouldn't have thought I'd like this idea, but I actually love it, the way you've set it up. I think the beginning pay is perhaps too much, but then again, there are real life people who are born into money and make millions every day! This could definitely work for one or two Sim families. Thanks

Thanks everyone for all the positive comments! I'm glad it's being played and enjoyed .

A hooker career, huh? I'm not sure it would be appropriate, or that I'd want to make it. I'll think about it, and maybe ask the moderators. Thankyou for your suggestion though!

Sounds like a good idea to me too. Your suggestion got me thinking though of something I hear often. Not to be too cliche` but what about the stripper top level being graduate from med school/become a doc? Since I always have heard, I'm just doing this to put myself thru school... Maybe there could be two choices (?maybe separate mods?) like go on to become an 'erotic Superstar' or 'pursue a degree while stripping'.

On that same note I've wondered If careers have 10 levels up, shouldn't they have levels down as well? What if (kinda of like your idea) Sims aren't successful but sink lower? Where if they make the wrong choice on the chance card they might slowly sink to the bottom level.

(current real world situations aside) i.e. the Bank CEO gets caught stealing from the company and moves down the corporate ladder instead of up; of course that means the stripper could end up lonely and disheveled depending on how rl you make the game...

Just a few thoughts. I wish I knew how to make these careers, thanks for the ones you've offered

P.S. I'd really love a Nanny career so my NPC's could keep their jobs after I move them in... do you know of one?

DaSpecial1, I don't know about an erotic movie star career, I don't want to make that, but chance cards can be made to move sims down one level, or all the way to the bottom, whatever you want, so sinking is already kinda doable!

As for a nanny career, there is another upload of all the NPC careers on this site. ie someone's made a nanny, gardener, maid career.. I wasn't that interested but they looked pretty good. I'd recommend checking that out
