This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This mesh was made by Beosboxboy and me, and the textures by Beosboxboy
The file contains the mesh and the three recolors.

21-03-2005: I finally resized the neck!

Sorry that I missed your post, I hope that you have found the solution to your problem by now... It looks to me that you are missing the "MESH" file; without it the skin is replaced by Maxis default clothing in game.

It seems that for whatever reason the fixed texture files didn't overwrite the former version, maybe because it's in a different folder. My advice would be to delete the faulty ones in CAS, this should allow the fixed ones to show up the next time you launch the game. Now, if you have other recolours by other creators, the alpha wasn't edited on them and they will still have the issue.

thank you

What about the thousands of wonderful men and women who are fighting this war without any of the credit or the glory that always goes to those lucky few who just happen to get shot?
