Perfect, I owned a real life one in the bright yellow many moons ago, now at least my Simmies can enjoy one and I'll live vicariously through them! :lovestruc

Oooh, oooh! Thank you!

I learned to drive on a blue 1966 Beetle, a long time ago now, and I'm thrilled to see it again. I used Exenem's beetle for TS2, and I'm glad to see yours for TS3.

One of my favourites... I was waiting for a car like this since TS3 came out
If you could create it's relative, the VW Kombi (aka Volkswagen Type 2 T1), It would be just great.
Also, its quality is amazing!
Thanks a lot!

PS: I also remember Mr Bean driving a mini...

OMG this is SO incredible - I love the Sims 3 copy of this car. The VW Käfer was my Mom's first car (colour: light blue). What is now called the "VW Beetle" in Germany doesn't even come close to what the VW Käfer looked like. I love the old look of the Käfer/Beetle - but I know that in English the name is always the same.

I would never have requested this to you but I'm glad you chose to make a VW Käfer this time. Great job! I love all your cars.

I love you >.> I've no idea what it is about these cars, but I love them so much. Almost got myself one a while ago but I was talked over it because of lack of parts in my area.

Congratulations to your extraordinary number of downloads and thank you for sharing this car for Sims 3 with this occasion!
Versions of this type of car existed for 65 years, it was sold more than 21.5 Million times. Let's see whether you can reach (half of?) the same number of downloads as long as The Sims exist. So I'm looking forward to your next vehicles.

Is the beetle you made before this one compatible with pets? Wish it was in cyber green like this one. Thx!

I can't thank you enough for this car (and many others). I've been a car buff since age six when my dad bought a '41 dodge sedan. It had the (optional) running boards and scratchy tweed seats.

It looked like this:

My dad bought a '63 Beetle for my sister to drive to school (college) back in 1974. When we filled it up for the first time he calculated that the car had been getting 20MPG in town, before even getting tune-ups. This was back in the day when Dad would boast that the Chrysler-built 318-cu. in. V8 in his 1964 Dodge Polara got that much MPG on the highway!

He bought one for himself soon after, a black 1968 with a red interior.
