"In the bleak mid-winter,
Frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron,
Water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow,
Snow on snow,
In the bleak mid-winter,
Long ago.”

by C. Rossetti

- Lot size is 3X4
- Hack-free (checked via Clean Installer)
- Unfurnished because, well, it’s in ruins
- For best results, install with the Sims2Pack Clean Installer, found here:

Custom Content NOT Included:
- NNNNatali’s winter recolors of the Maxis baytree, found here:
- NNNNatali’s winter recolor of the Maxis rosebush and hibiscus, found here:

*NOTE: The lot has been upload without NNNNatali’s exquisite tree and bush recolors. Instead I have left the Maxis originals in place, so just download her recolors and apply them as I have in the pictures provided. (I found that with her recolors, the lot’s size only increases by 10kb, so I highly recommend them.)

Custom Content Included:
-Custom wallpaper, terrain and tiles by V1ND1CARE

* Please DO NOT upload this lot, or any of my other works, to the Exchange and/or any paysites without my consent.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

I cannot even fathom how one can get on the Sims and simply create something so completely stunning and beautiful as this. You're creativity with lots and skills are one to make many envious, and I include myself. Bravo.

Wow, that's so beautiful...
It could come in handy for music videos for my band (Well, music videos for songs that aren't really finished yet...)

It confused me at first but then it reminded me of the ruins of a Gothic cathedral. Nice work.

Great lot! I was reading the post and we sang "In the bleak mid-winter" in my choir class one time. Great job!

On the cutting room floor of memory
When single frames from one magic night
Forever flicker in close-up
On the 3-D Imax on my mind"

This lot beats everything. The poem you chose to introduce this creation, seems to be the only fitting words you could have said. The icy serenety, the silence, indeed breath taking impressive.

OFB is the only EP that I don't have. This lot makes me want to go get it right now just so I can have incredibly cool snow covered ruins in my neighborhood.

Wonderful job.
