This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
**Updated 27-Oct-09** Fixed Club desk in the HL_base_1TileDesks.rar.

A variety pack of one-tile desks, from Base game up to Apartment Life. Each file is labeled with what EP/SP is required. Each one is a slave to the two-tile version and takes all Maxis/EA plus custom colors. All desks cost one-half the amount of the two-tile one...well, because there half the desk!

I realize some of these have been done, but most that I know of are pay and I do not use pay items so I needed an alternative. I have done all of the desks that I like and use and I have no idea why it has taken me this long to get to this. I have no immediate plans to make more, but who knows.

Each desk has the main slot for computer/homework plus the original secondary slot moved over and to the rear. The Country one has an additional slot added. (...ignore the shadow on the Atomic one...its been fixed...)

The secondary slot also works great for MogHughson's Desk Locator or the UNI Desk Locator. Thanks Cat for reminding me what I forgot to mention.

Polygon Counts:
Asian - 395
Club - 437
Economy - 188
Quaint - 1474
Mission - 1118
Atomic - 972
Country - 2691
Goth - 1313
Fredrik - 428
Bohemian - 1482
Tech - 940

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

I was tired of using the 1 tile kitchen table. I could use these, thanks!

By the time you read this you've already read it. ;)

Awesome! I don't really like two-tile desks, so these are perfect!

I've been looking forever for 1 tile desks! Finally I can stop using that ugly kitchen table... And my sims will finally stop choosing to sit down to eat on a "pretend" 1 tile desk.. rather than the dining table setup nicely for them.

Thank you thank you so much!

Forgot to give due appreciation for that 2nd slot! Great place for MogHughson's desk locator (uni addon too), without which desks would be nearly useless lumps when it comes to homework.

Huh.... I never realised how much I would love to have a one-tile desk instead of a two-tile before now. Thank you so much for this!

These are great - by coincidence, I downloaded them from Sims Artists today. Do you suppose you'll ever tackle the surfer desk from Teen Style Stuff? I only ask because I just used that theme for an entire dorm, and it would make a nice addition as a computer desk for uni students.

Oh Wow! These look so great. Can't wait to try them. I second what was said about the 1-tile dining tables which I also use as a desk in small lots, but then the Sims eat their dinner at it. I love these. Although I've never uploaded any lots, I really love making small lots, and trying to cram in as much function into a house as possible!

Mostly I fix Gameplay annoyances. I take requests and have made a few Requested mods already. Visit me on MTS Yearbook

I'm definitely looking forward to using these sometime soon. My subscription ended this month at TSR, and I couldn't afford to renew it yet. I hadn't looked for anything similar before, so seeing them here was really simple! Thanks for all the hard work.

Ah. No more using the card table in a cramped house. These desks look really nice in-game. Thanks!
