This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

Don't you just hate wasted space? Well, the "Gone with the Window" is a perfect example. All that space, and you can't put anything in it... until now.

This is a default replacement. I've added 18 slots, so now you can place objects in the window. Price, poly count, presets, and location are all the same as the original.

Have fun!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Thank you so much for yet another truly useful creation. And thank you for making this a default replacement. Grateful to not have to use 18 OMSPs anymore!

I have been waiting for something like this for so long. This mod pretty much makes my day. I always start to put those window into my house and later realize that they are useless...so I delete them. Kitchens, here I come!

Oh, this is perfect! Every time I use this window, think it would be so realistic to be able to decorate the window sill. And here I have it! Thank you so much

Have I told you that I love you?

PS: Doing this to the other bay windows would be A-MAZE-ING!

I seriously rarely comment on things, but this is one of those brilliantly simple additions that make you wonder why the game just didn't have this to begin with. Talk about long-felt wants! This is really great.

Default Not showing up in windows
Is this supposed to be in Windows? It doesn't seem to be replacing Not Just a Bay Window. I am using Ambitions with the mods in the new place in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims3\Mods\packages. I don't seem to have any problem with other default replacements. Does anyone else have this problem?

Thank you for your time.
