Description
This mod allows you to change the pregnancy time to be longer or shorter than the default of three days.

The mod comes in 4 flavors. Choose your favorite:
1 day pregnancy (8 hour trimesters)
9 day pregnancy (3 day trimesters)
18 day pregnancy (6 day trimesters)
30 day pregenancy (10 day trimesters)

Install Instructions

1. Choose only ONE flavor of the mod. Extract the file into Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods (or wherever you normally put mods)

2. In the mods folder, create an empty folder named "unpackedmod"

3. Open resource.cfg, and add the following line if it is not already there:
DirectoryFiles unpackedmod autoupdate

Compatibility

This mod overrides XML resource 03B33DDF 00000000 06F6554A25E46FD0 and will conflict with other mods using the same resource. This resource controls the length of pregnancy, as well as the chances for twins and triplets.

This should be compatible with AgonistAgent's "Babies for Everyone".

You can do this through cheats, while the sim won't technically be preganant, they will have all the symptoms.

Here's how:

Press Ctrl + Shift + C and enter one of the following

sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_NotShowing
sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_Trimester1
sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_Trimester2
sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_Trimester3
sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_InLabor

I'd love a 6 day version pretty please! or if someone can walk me through doing it myself or at least point me the right direction of how to? I'm so lost, but a 6 day pregnancy mod would make life worth living lol

After the May 4 patch when you load the game with this mod you no long have a UI and you can't see your sim.

I've had the same problem as grimsoul, but after adding and removing different mods, I think its a problem for ALL gameplay mods because I have not been able to have a single one in my game that doesn't cause my sims to disappear. Guess I'm gonna have to switch to a different game until updated mods start rolling in. :/

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppppppppp. 'n it makes me sad because this mod actually allows me to play with the shorter life span. 'cause otherwise it's "Oh your sim lives for 20 days as an adult that can have babies...." 'n pregnancies last for 3 days each time? No thank you. Super sad.

MDina-PregTimer does not work with the new version 6.1.69. Sims disappear from the lots. Sorry for my bad English.

It's a shame, really. I love this mod, but now I can't use it since the new update doesn't eat it.

I am having problems with this mod. I took all my cc out of my game until I ended up with only this one. It kept messing up my game not allowing me to start. I don't know if it isn't compatible with the new update or what. I have the 30 day download. Thanks for your hard work. : )

Caution! This mod is incompatible with the most recent patch (May 5, 2015)! If you have installed, all household sims do not load!

After May 4th, all of my sims vanished in all worlds. I finally figured it was this mod that had caused all my sims and the townies to vanish. I had to remove this mod.

This really does need updating. It's a shame since I really like the 9 day pregnancy for my Sims.

The maker of this mod has not been on since January. Someone needs to take this mod and update it themselves... I wish I knew how to do stuff like that...
