Thankyou so much!! It really annoyed me having to load the game just to see the "true" colour!

Thank you, SO MUCH. I've always avoided BodyShop because of the lighting. And because it takes so long to load on my computer. You've fixed one of my two problems. Thanks again.

Wow, this is very helpful, thank you! But which one is the one that is the same lighting as the actual game? I tried the brightest one and it looks too bright. But I can't tell between the others ones.

I noticed mine no longer works now with Seasons, i might try a few options and see if I can fix it, as it's very helpful.

Does not work with Seasons, which is a shame. Can you please take a look-see at it? Thank you!

I have been off-the-air for the last couple of weeks due to a move. I just installed seasons here, and I will test this soon. Until then, you should be able to use the legacy body shop mod that Numenor made to run the older bodyshop version.

I can't seem to make it not work in Seasons.

Those that have had trouble should try deleting the "groups.cache" and "cigen.package" files. Both of these will get rebuilt automatically.

Be careful when deleting files to delete just the ones I cited above. I am not responsible for operator error.

Hi, thank you a lot for this mod. It was really upseting to see our work in that bad light :P. Now it's not okay, it's great! I have the Seasons expansion and put the package in the download folder, and it's working fine.
Thank you again for the great job modding :D

ok great then i hadnt downloaded it before seasons so i didnt know was just gonna wait for a update...finally i can see what the heck im doing woot!

edit:

there seems to be a problem for me with this..or atleast im pretty sure its caused by this...i placed it in the config folder (only put the xxb one in so far) ...but any ways when i went in to clean up some unwanted makeup in bodyshop i wasnt allowed to select some of them but some i could i dont get why..i checked again after i removed the XXB file and restarted bodyshop and there was no problem i was able to select all teh makeup i couldnt before and deleted them as planned so i guess it might now be completely functional with seasons? (i have all eps and no stuff packs if this helps you)
ill try it out again with the less bright ones and maybe they will work for me since the XXB was atad to bright anyways
just thought youd liek to know

oh and i forgot to add i had pretty recently deleted the 2 files you mentioned since i was having a problem with the game...should i delete them
again?

EDIT 2 :
well atleast the Xb one seems to be workign just fine and its at the lighting i like alot so im good still dont know what the heck is up with teh xxb lol

All three files should be the same, containing the same five lights, except for the values used on the lights themselves.
However, sometimes changes do not become immediately recognized if groups.cache or cigen.package aren't also deleted.

I love better lighting... but just removed the highest lighting option as it has too much glare for me to see the work i am doing, I have the lightest on in now and it is good, but i am going to try the med. vs. next time i restart body shop hoping for that happy medium, ad for where this file goes. i plan to move it to config, but i use the robot and that program placed your files in downloads.. So just in case someone wants to know... they work fine in the download folder, if you have all 3 installed there you will see the brightest version.
