SilentLucidity's created a new set of OMSP's. Any plans to add this set to your object?

This doesn't seem to work on community lots. I can place the board on the lot, and my Sim who is visiting the lot can choose the option to make OMSPs invisible, but they stay visible. I'm using LordDarcy's OMSPs on a community lot.

Hello,

I´m sorry for answering so late, but the last week I was in Austria on vacation, and I had no internet.

@ClicknPsycho: I usually have more than one on a lot, and I had no problems so far. If you only want to decorate rooms with the pinboard without using the functionality, the simple decorative object I linked to in the description may be interesting for you.

@wandersfar: I´m going to download SilentLucidity´s new OMSPs and add them to the Controller as soon as possible.

@Moxilator: Shame on me. Never tested it on community lots. I´m going to check this. Thanks for the hint!
EDIT: I just tested it on a community lot, and it worked fine in my game and a basegame-version with the AnyGameStarter. I´m going to send you a PM to find the problem.

@zoooeeee the controller should be under decorative -> wall hangings
@julsfels thanks for making the controller and even integrate it in such a great looking object (love the versatility that comes with all those recolors). unfortunately for some reason the osmps (i'm using the shiftable ones by silentlucidity (the ones with 3 different heights and angled shelves) revert to a visible status after leaving and re-entering the lot.

Thank you for your response, I just didn't want to accidentally put two in and have a problem.
I've used it, and WOW it is beautiful!!

I haven't really started using OMSPs yet, but I just have to say - one of the boards has a LARP pamphlet on it... win.

Thank you so much for this! I tend to use a bunch of OSMPs in a lot and being able to turn them all on or off is a huge help, and much cheaper than recoloring all of them. XD

Just as a side note: I don't use OMSP's much, but I LOVE the pin boards themselves and would love to have them just as a basic object. If you ever feel the urge just remove the mod and just use them as a wall hanging, I'd be completely into that

It does not seem to work on apartment lots. Anyone else experience something like this?

I'm really hoping that you will add SilentLucidity's new OMSPs also. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw your creation. It is what I've been wishing for, for a long time. Thank you!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I've been cursing at these OMSP's forever, when you can't click the thing to make it invisible? Well, now I won't have to

I don't want to seem impatient, but are we making any progress with that? It currently only works with the OMSPs that I want to get rid of

I've been using this in the game and I wanted to say how amazing this is. It's such a time saver I have so many OMSPs in my game. Thanks again!

I keep checking back to this thread also, to see if it's been updated with the latest OMSPs by SilentLucidity. They're the only ones I use now and it would be absolutely AMAZING if your mod would work with them.

I hope you will update. Thanks so much for offering this controller.

I'd tell you just how hard it was before this download to deal with OMSPs but I guess you already know the plight. Anyways thanks. And I second greeneyedsims' request. Update please?

Hello everybody,

I´m very sorry it takes so long to add SilentLuciditys new OMSPs, but I had very less time the last months - real life was stronger than me.

But next week I don´t have to work for two weeks, and this is on top of my TODO-list.

I also want to overwork the whole thing, because the repository-version from MATY is not supported, and I am still searching for a solution to fix the effect, that the changes with the controller are not permanent, when you save the lot and re-enter it.
I found a way to fix it when you turn the OMSPs from visible to invisible (which is, I think, the most important part), but I found no way to make a switch from invisible to visible permament.

@Selindley: There is already a simple decorative object. I´ve linked to it on the Overview-page.

EDIT 07-31-09: New version is now uploaded.

Thank you sooo much for updating! I'll test these as soon as possible. By the way, your site rocks, especially the IKEA match set.

Impressive! Even the MATY repository versions included! I was planning to go ask for that, but now I won't have to

Very much obliged, for the update as well as the alert.

I downloaded this yesterday and the first post says that the object is compatible with SilentLucidity's new up-shiftable OMSPs. I used the small version (purple) of those OMSPs and when I used the controller to hide the OMSPs, it also hid the objects on top of the OMSPs so that all my deco disappeared. Thankfully the make visible function worked I ran the HCDU and no conflicts with any of the mods I use were reported. I did not try the other two types of OMSP that are also in the download file, only the small, but not the regular and not the coffee table (side table? can't remember) OMSPs that also come with that set. It is possible that the disappearing deco is only a problem for the small OMSPs and not for all of them.

Uh! That´s weird. I´m going to check this.
Thanks for the hint!

EDIT: I checked this, and it seems to depend on the EPs installed. So I fixed this by returning to the old "ChangeMaterial"-Method.
Now objects on the OMSPs will no longer become invisible with the OMSPs, but unfortunately this means that the changes are no longer preserved when you save and re-enter the lot.
I´m working on a solution, but until then, you have to change the visibility of the OMSPs at least one time manually by catalogue or with the design tool.
After saving and re-entering a lot, the OMSPs always will convert back to the last manually chosen recolor.
