The only thing I don't like is that you can't see the eyes very well. I like bangs to be just at the eyebrows.

Other than that, it's soooooo gorgeous!!

Pretty! Yay for binning! Are elders grey? Is the hair animated? That is, does it move properly when sims turn their heads or nod?

Thanks ^__^ Elders are grey, the hair is not animated, and it moves really well since I use different % in the Bone tool

I'm confused: you say it's not animated, but that it moves well. Doesn't it have to be animated to move at all? Sorry, but I'm no expert so I have no idea what you mean by "different % in the Bone tool."

Anyway, this is a very cute hair. I especially like the color of the red version. So many creators have trouble making a realistic red, but this looks very nice. Thanks so much for sharing.

I believe that means it IS animated. Anyway, the % bone thing is what I was asking about.

If I'm not mistaken you can fix that by making the neck shorter or the face longer when creating a sim, and because the bangs go all the way around you won't get a funky looking forehead, at least in my mind you don't! But I'll play around with it and see if I'm correct.

Agustin: This mesh is absolutely beautiful. I really adore the textures and the colors are gorgeous. Thank-You so much for sharing this with us. I can't wait to see it in game. :lovestruc , Chibi

Absolutely gorgeous! And Chibigamer is right; all you have to do is make adjustments in create a sim or body shop.

Thanks, Augustin!

Okay, just to clarify, there are two types/levels of animation on hair meshes.

Level 1 is the basic level that all hair meshes must have to animate right in-game. This means assignments to the head, neck, and upper spine for longer hair so that the hair travels along with the head, has no neck gap, and moves smoothly when the sim turns their head. I think that's what agustin is saying this has.

Level 2 is "bonus" animation - assignment to the hair animation bones to make that sort of bouncy "sway in the breeze" type animation that many Maxis hairs have. This animation is not really necessary for the hair to look right, but can make hairs look more realistic and nicer if done right... or if done wrong, will make it look ridiculous and anti-gravity almost. Many creators don't bother doing this as it's a lot harder to get right and look proper in most situations.
