Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

Ok well this has to be the longest time i have -ever- spent working on a house, it is also the first time that i have ever made a house with lowered back, not really sure what you call that, but the front is on one level and the back is a level down I have taken this to creator feedback and #create to get feedback and ideas on it and it is finally done! I also learnt a few new tricks with this house, i learnt that holding down the "alt" key turned the grid snapping off yes i didn't know that before this house, i tried to use new techniques and such to make it more interesting so i hope you like it.

The house has 3 floors, the main floor (first floor) which is the lower house, the second floor above that is the upper house. On the level at the bottom is the guest house, the whole level, only accesible from the outside, is devoted to being a guest house, the overall house was so large it made sense to have a completely self serving guest house There is also a pool out the back for all of the house to use and there is a double garage as well as 2 parking spots on the driveway

Lower House:
*Entrance Hall/ Living Area
*Dining Room
Upper House:
*Master Bedroom
*2 Further Bedrooms
Guest House:
*Living Area/ Study
*2 Bedrooms
*2 En-suites

Pictures of the back, pool area, and floor plans can be found in the attachments

Lot Size: 40x40

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

This is truly exceptional. I almost never download houses anymore but I really have to make the exception for this lovely piece of artwork. Fantastic! Thank you very sharing!

I had to come back and edit this and just add that, especially after seeing it in game, this really is just... phenomenal. Breath-taking!

In a way, it almost makes me lose all inspiration to build homes of my own at the moment (not in a bad way!) because it's things like these that seem like custom-fit! I've already come up with an idea for a family for this house and everything, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out. Thanks again!

I´m sorry to report that this home does not work for me.
Every time I try to build a basement the game throw me out to desktop.
Has anyone else this problem or know how to fix it?

Is there a particular piece of land this lot has to be placed on? Or can it be placed on whichever lot which fits?

It can be placed on whichever lot that it fits in, the edges are flat as far as I know. Also mimmi, i'm not sure what it wrong, I have not heard anyone else with that problem, it is a very large and filled lot, perhaps it is too demanding for your pc?

Ok, so I floated on your page and browsed around and this little beauty caught my eye. I kid you not my mouth dropped in real life. I'm not just saying it. This is such a gorgeous horse, and I'm so glad it's for TS3 base game or I would've been so sad.

-thanks a million

I LOVE this house! It's gorgeous and I had my Sims move in here, and it's spectacular! The basement/guesthouse was genius! I have my butler live down there. The basement is beautiful for the fact that it look so clean and modern. But I did notice that some of the beds were not properly placed and Sims couldn't get on them, so I had to replace them. But no biggie! I still love it!
