This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Zenman's Curvier Teen Meshes w/Textures Vol 1

**UPDATE** 12-16-2005: See below

NOTE: There are two zip files; only download the one of them you want. The file "" file contains files that allow you to create a female teen that has a curvier shape.

The "" file will replace your female teen mesh defaults with new meshes. Don't use this file unless it is what you want to happen!! If you do use this file, and don't like your defaults to be affected, simply remove these files from your downloads folder, and your meshes will return to the defaults.

Please let me know if you have any problem with either of these, and I'll see what needs to be done to fix it.

Note that volume 2 of this set can be found at:

and volume 3 can be found at:

Volume 4 can be found at:

Volume 5 can be found at:

This is a set of new meshes for the teen female to move her from a tall 12 year old to a normal 16 year old. I had trouble dealing with a 12 year old dating, so I grew her up....:-)

These meshes are modified versions of a number of Maxis default meshes. The meshes included are:

TF Athletic Jersey
TF Cheerleader
TF Dress w/Belt & Boots
TF Formal Trumpet Dress
TF Mandarin Top
TF Sweats
TF Nude
TF Swimsuit (points to nude mesh)
TF Undies (points to nude mesh)

Since these are Maxis meshes, you can use SimPE to point any Maxis or 3rd party texture for the Maxis mesh to these meshes as well.

I included a separate texture for each mesh, and decided not to use a Maxis default texture (because I get tired of looking at them after a while). The textures included aren't anything special; I just did some serious hacking on the Maxis default ones so they'd look different.

I will continue to convert the default Maxis teen meshes to this shape over time. How quickly I do so will depend on how popular they turn out to be (which of course I can only measure by number of downloads and number of thank yous!! (hint)).

To use these, simply unzip into your ...\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads folder.

Terms of use:

- Do not post these meshes on any other sites; they are for MTS2 only
- Do not include these meshes with any recolors; link back to this thread for the mesh

Other than that have a ball!

UPDATE: I added a comparison picture for the meshes; the two in the picture are the before and after for the teen nude mesh. Pretty much everything was changed except for the arms (not too many polys there; best to leave those alone.)

UPDATE: It just so happens I have a version of these files that do replace the games default meshes (meaning all female teens in the game who wear these particular clothes will have this shape). To me, this isn't preferred but I'm happy to give a choice. These are contained in the file "" file. These also go into your Sims2 download folder. To return to using your default meshes, simply delete these files from your downloads folder. I wouldn't recommend using both sets of files because you're likely to get confused over what files do what...

UPDATE: 11-25-2005 - An error was seen in the BodyManderinTop mesh that I felt I had to fix. I've uploaded new zip files containing the updated mesh. The error is minor; you don't need to download the new zips unless you're a perfectionist (like some of us). :mag:

UPDATE: 11-30-2005 - Someone noticed that I had not been compressing the textures for the skins (thanks!). It seems that Bodyshop does this automatically but SimPE does not. I've gone through and updated the zip with compressed skins. Only re-download if you care about file sizes.

UPDATE: 12-16-2005 - I've found and fixed the problem that caused the meshes to look strange in BodyShop. The issue was less noticable in the game, but still there. The new meshes resolve the issue.

UPDATE 01-04-2006: I have uploaded the Poser magnets that I used to create these and the other meshes to MTS2. I've included some tips for using them (although I point you to Xenos' Poser tutorial for the majority of the information). If you have Poser, and would like to apply these to other existing meshes, you can get the files at:

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

They sure look different from the Maxis default Teens. So what did you exactly alter in this new Mesh Zenman? Shoulders? Arms? Breasts? Hips? Thighs? Behind? Legs?

Okay. I'm putting my 2 cents in. These look nice and I'm going to try them out in my game. I'll also have to keep looking to see if anything else posts for this mesh.

They are pretty good. I am definitely going to use these creations. Just for the variation could you make this mesh with the breasts a bit fuller and post it here or in a new thread? I don't know if it's possible but if you make the bust size of an young adult or adult (in case you don't own a copy of University). This will add a girl that's over 16 too.

These are terrific, they sure do look more like an average teen, not a pre-teen as in maxis ones

You don't need SimPE to use them. Just put them in your download folder per the instructions. If you want to build new textures for them, then you need SimPE. There are a number of Tutorials in the Create section on the main page that talk to using it.

These are great and I have been waiting for these. One question, are they default ? I tried to figure that out from the post and hate to sound dumb, but, I'd really like them to be if they aren't
