Title: Newbie Road 36a [NL] - Under 30.000
Category: Lots & Housing > Residential

Cost: 29.988
Lot size: 3x2

Nightlife expansion required.
No custom content.

Family house for 3-4 Sims, furnished, with basement, porch in front + back, and driveway. This is an expanded version of Newbie Road 36.

1 x double bedroom
3 x single bedroom (1 furnished)
3 x bathroom
1 x kitchen/dining
2 x livingroom

Basic appliances included: lights, toilet (2x, both expensive), bathtub, fridge, kitchen sink, trashcan, phone, burglar alarm, smoke detector, bookshelf. This house also has a dresser, a crib, a changing table, a potty, a stove, a chess set, and a swing; driveway + car included.

Expandability: Basement can be enlarged a bit more, and/or rooms added on the right side. Both should be relatively easy to do.

If you get an "expansion pack data required" error upon installation, please try Clean Installer instead of the Maxis one. Apparently this is a known issue (not specific to this download), see this thread describing the problem and this post (daysies) explaining the workaround.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Yet another really nice house. It's plenty big enough for most of my purposes, and yep, there's space to expand a bit too, there being a good basement is quite a bonus. So, the question is, who do I move into this one? Ah, choices, choices.
By the way, many of your starter homes go into my University neighbourhood, because they're cheap enough that impoverished students can easily afford them.
Anyway, thanks again!
