Cool i have all of the expansions so i'll post here if any troubles oh and does it overwrite any careers???

A few things to point out-

1) It's not EP ready, and I'm pretty sure it's going to overwrite Bobbling's career (the guid doesn't look like a guid database guid)

2) You don't need the .bak files included in your download.

Magic Career Version 1.1

On SuperFly's advice i have updated the GUID so that it will no longer overwrite Bobblings Hacker Career. However if anyone has tested it and can see it works then please do say!

When I installed this I experienced the same problem with careers as when I installed University. That is, the game hung completely when trying to load a house. I think that this career may work fine with the original but not with any EP.

I will be sure to download if this ever becomes EP ready. It looks great. :D

I had anotehr look at the updated version, and it was still conflicting. I therefore took the liberty of fixing the package for you- it's now EP ready and will not conflict. I'd update your main post if I were you.

I have updated the download file to the one that SuperFly miraculously fixed. If you have an older version of the Career, please download the new one if:

1. You have Bobbling's Hacker Career
2. If you have any expansion packs

If you dont have any of the above you should be fine, but I would download the new one anyway, just in case.

I haven't made a career reward because I am nowhere near that good yet. The current career reward is the Teleprompter. If you wish to make a magical themed object for me, i would be only to happy to include it in the package.

I'm sorry but this is a bit confusing. Are you saying that the DL file up in the top area is now the final version? If so, could you make a note to that effect in the description up there (under an Update perhaps) so that we poor users out here know which one of the 3 files we are supposed to get, EP or no EP?

Oh...and do we need to have Bobbling's career for this to work or what??

I have now updated the post. Mine and Superfly's downloads are now gone, the newest version of the package will always be at the top of the post. Thanx to Superfly's ingenious, the package is now EP ready.

I probably worded that last post wrong, you do not need Bobbling's hacker career, what i was saying was that if you had Bobbling's hacker career then this career would overwrite it.

This Career will be constantly updated, so if you take note of the version at the top when you download it, then check back once in a while, and the version might have changed, hence you could download a better version.

I hope this cleared up your questions. :P

a great career would be a singer career. like the first level might be Big-Headed Dreamer and the last could be Total Rocker
