Testers Wanted- Banking Career (with a custom carpool!)

Hi guys. Tried Cheese yet?

Anyways... After a lot of failures and dead ends, I've finally managed to make a custom Nightlife car appear as a normal carpool. (Big thanks to jms who allowed me to use his convertable sports car for this- it was one of the only cars that I could get to work...) However...

**Please Read!**

The method I've used to achieve this result is far from perfect. The car does not suffer from bugs, but rather the problem is one of aesthetics. The cars arrival and departure look unusual, as the different subsets are out of sync. It doesn't look stupendously wrong, but it could use more work. The purpose of this thread is so that I can get some feedback on how the car operates in other games, and with different pack combinations installed. If anyone can help me correct the problem of synchronisation, I'd be eternally grateful

The career is based on the business career, and, apart from its descriptions and levels, it is identical. It has a unique guid and will work with all EP's.

The car will not clash with the normal NL car, or the hatchback (on which it is based). It should work for all EP's.

Please also note- at the moment no tutorial is being considered. The method I've used sucks up unique guids like nothing else, so, unless the technique is perfected, it is unlikely that I will use cars for my future careers.

I think that's everything covered (at least I hope so....)

Feedback is massivly appreciated,

SuperFly :baloons:

Hello. I have a few questions: 1)What are the levels, and what do they do, and 2)Could I use another car of my own choosing if I want my Sim to drive him/herself to work?

SAGGG-

1)- the levels.... oh the levels.... You start of as a Banker Level 1, then progress to being a Banker Level 9, and you end up as a Bank manager.

2)- At the moment you can't select with ease which car you drive to work in, as the procedure is very mucky and requires adding in subsets and all that kind of yucky stuff.

Yes, but they're the ones from the Buisness career- Banking isn't intended to be a full career, but rather a test career for the car.

sorry i've only tested one level so far as real life intervened......but the car turned up ok and is a very nice car
it seemed to drive perfectly well out of the driveway and off the lot. the only aesthetic weirdness i noticed was the windows stayed behind for a second or two before disappearing

Terrio- Who said that? If they haven't mentioned it here, then I can't really fix the problem, can I? It may even be another hack causing the problem. Until I find out more, this career is staying classed as bug free.

it has worked ok for me, the only glitch with the car is that the wheels stay behind a bit then go... but has been a good career so far.

When a file has a unique guid it will not overwrite any game files.
