This new business was built International style for your Sims. It is set up with a French bakery in one shop and an adjoining floral shop next door. Thoroughly play tested and easily managed, this lot comes fully equipped for your success.

This was built on a small 2x3 lot and sells for $160,117. All custom walls floors and terrains were created by me. There is no other custom content included. The Family Fun pack is also not required for this lot. Enjoy!

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

I am sorry you've had trouble downloading from here. I'm not sure what the problem may be. At any rate, this lot is also available from my Sim page and may be downloaded at this link: http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/lot...t&user_id=58619

Enjoy!

I love it, but here's my question: is La Petite intended to be a community lot, or a business my Sims can purchase and work in? I downloaded it with the latter reasoning, but it's showing up as a community lot for me. Also, it looks more like an apartment (three stories) or very tall community lot. Is it possible to CONVERT it into a home business? :/

Hi intothe stars,

Thank you for all your kind comments on several of my lots! It's been awhile since I have played, but isn't it true that you can convert a community lot to a purchased business? I think it could also be converted to a home business, but you would need to install the mailbox which I believe you can get from here.

Of course, all my lots come furnished but I do that as an example of how one could use the rooms or for those who just want to jump in and play, and don't want to be bothered with planning spaces and furnishing. I would assume most people would redecorate to suit their own needs for the game.

Actually, I have all the EPs but didn't start using OFB until very recently, so I didn't know that. Well then, I'll just have John pick up the phone and make it into a home business!

I love the concept of two stores in one and you did a great job with the landscaping!
