Thank you! This is very nice indeed! Business will definitely flourish in this location. (Well, after I fix my computer and it will no longer freeze, and crash and return all sorts of errors. )

Impressive work, thank you. Really well detailed. I'm also quite surprized by small size of the file even the massive furnishing, that's a good point. Thanks again and ciao.

This is awesome! And it's a small lot so it'll run great in my game. I'm going to love playing this.

Excellent Lot! Thank You for sharing but the file seems to be corrupt. These are the errors i get when trying to unrar it

!C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\MTS2_357836_eltrinow_Windy_Cafe_and_Shops.rar: Unexpected end of archive

! C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\MTS2_357836_eltrinow_Windy_Cafe_and_Shops.rar: CRC failed in Windy Cafe and Shops.Sims2Pack. The file is corrupt

-------------------------------

Edit.....
Well i got it to download but there seems to be no custom content included. Everything turns to maxis objects & theres curtains on the outside of the building

Wow! A truly amazing looking lot, but just one thing.... when I go to install it, there is not custom content included in the package. I use the Clean Installer and the only thing in the package is the lot itself. Just an FYI.

I don't usually download lots that often anymore, but this is a real treat and I would love to get the version with the custom content.

eltrinow, the lot is great but as Witchboy said the file seems not to be the one expected. May I ask to check the matter? it would be nice from you because we would have this lot as you uploaded. In any case, if CC are not included, please state it. Thanks again and ciao.

The newspaper stands and some other CC from retailsims may not work with OFB. Their website says so. That might be the reason behind the errors you are getting and things not showing up in the game. I am sure it is unfurnished to be that small of a file size. With that said, THIS IS AN AWESOME LOT.

Please check me out at Sims Crossing Please do not upload any of my lots, clothing, or other creations to other sites!

Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot to me that you all like it.

However, I do need to apologize. This is my second upload and my assumption was as long as the "lotSegmentForUpload" option was selected it would include the custom content used when I packaged the lot. This does not seem to be the case since some of you have reported no content shows up.

I am running into another problem, I would like to replace the file, however from S2PCI I'm not sure what to include. My first attempt makes the file over 40MB. I'm not sure exactly what to do, but I'm working on it.

Please bear with me :O)

Hey everybody...

Thank you, this lot is amazing, but I too get no custom content, so I hope you get this worked out soon, I really love it and would love to include it in my game. Thank you.

I guess there's no hope you'll be able to reupload this lot with the custom content? *whimpers and crawls back under her bed to pout*

The lot works fine, but you need to download the custom content yourself. It will then load into the lot if you place the lot afterward. Unfortunately, I was not able to find a few of the smaller items and the reflexsims paintings, and some of the wallpapers don't seem to be listed. Other than that it looks great. For those who are seeing curtains on the outside of the building, I think you are missing either the windows or the flowerboxes or both. It's a really gorgeous and highly playable lot with the custom content installed. There is *plenty* of room for the families of the shop owners to live above. I've made it into a co-op, and I have to say it's the most playable business/residence lot I have ever had.

The newspaper boxes are decorative and entirely compatible with OFB. I haven't found anything at retailsims yet that isn't. The disclaimer just means the creator did not test them in OFB.

Eltrinow, I believe I downloaded all the outdoor content you link but my lefthand building is showing up concrete outdoors. You might want to check and make sure you've listed all the wallpapers. My guess is the 40 mb might actually be how much space this lot may take with all that custom content included, so you may want to look at having a seperate content pack. You could just put the walls, floors, and uploadable build objects into the main pack and the custom decor in a seperate one, People who chose not to download that would still have the Maxis default content as a guideline.

edit: If you are seeing curtains outside the windows, make sure you have the Retroville awnings.

It's a beautiful lot. Unfortunately I'm one of the people not getting any of the cc included. It would make the downloading process go a lot faster if you were to link directly to the objects instead of the creators,
eta: many of the links provided are out of date, and some of the objects must be paid for.

Beautiful lot, but, like the others, I don't get the custom content. I suppose I could download them separately, or furnish it myself. Thanks.

Great Lot, But No Post-Uploading Support From Builder
This is a wonderful lot, but did anyone else go mad trying to figure things out like which of the umpteen chairs available at reflexsims.de could be considered 'spindle chairs?' Or, how about trying to determine which possible cabinet is intended out of all objects labeled as cabinets (overhanging, hutch-style, and otherwise) at Shoukeir's sims-2.gameslife.ru OR determining which of the literally dozens of paintings was meant by 'Painting' when referencing the same site??? Aargh

I'm about half-way through the list right now; I haven't been able to find a couple of things, but if I get most of them I guess that's better than none. It's really too bad the builder never made a CC pack to go with this really creative and, especially now that AL is on its way, timely lot.

*glares at eltrinow for teasing us with amazing screenshots but then refusing to play fair in helping us OCD-style players find the CC so the lot looks the way it was intended*

I also went mad, just as Xtian, by trying to get all the custom content. Because I didn't succeed in finding everything, I decided to "design" my own e.g. boutique and gallery and the are just as pretty as eltrinows.

PS eltrinow: wonderful work though! I love it, especially the gallery and boutique!
