Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Here is a small residential lot ideally set up for a home restaurant along the Peloponnesian coast in Greece. For some reason or other in creating this setting, I just couldn’t shake the notion of the reclusive bachelor enjoying his simple and quiet life on the Aegean’s edge. For the Peloponnese is the epitome of leisure, and one of its greatest delights comes from the quiet hours spent in seaside cafes watching fishermen mend their nets while couples stroll past. What better place to kick up your heels, listen to the jingle of sheep bells in the distance, and gaze at the fishing boats that grace the horizon while you wait for dinner.

NOTE: To achieve the shore line as I have pictured, position the lot along a low coastline neighborhood such as in Bluewater Village or better yet, use one of patul’s fantastic neighborhoods. Personally I favor his Lesvos and 7 Islands for my Greek theme.

- Lot size is 3X3
- Hack-free (checked via Clean Installer)
- Furnished
- Created with Family Fun Stuff installed. However, this pack is NOT required to install this lot. For best results, install with the Sims2Pack Clean Installer, found here: http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

shinie – Sure you may. I used the lush terrain, although the beach atmosphere within the pics may be somewhat misleading. The neighborhood is patul’s beautiful 7 Islands, which features topography that’s well suited for coastal lots, and here’s a link to eedgan’s painless steps on How to Build an Island in 5 Easy Stages: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=184564 . Hope this helps you.

And thanks to all of you for the feedback and generous words. They’re very much appreciated.
