This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

I thought it was stupid that the cute little retro glamour life dress was only for teens, didn't you? Well, unlike you, I went and converted it. Aren't I spiffy?

Compatability (MUST READ!): This mesh does NOT require Glamour Life Stuff (couldn't have made it require it if I'd wanted to due to how custom body meshes work). I've also had a few testers run this through earlier games and it does appear, despite several hundred 4th bone assignments, that this will work in most any game configuration, including base game or base + University. Please let me know if you have any issues, and if so, what EPs you have installed. There may be -very- slight animation issues with the hands when they approach the waist due to the bone assignments but it does not appear to effect gameplay in any way.

2722 polygons, 2236 vertices. It does have a fat (Maxis chubbyish) morph, but no pregnant. Made with Milkshape + Unimesh and I didn't run it through the .smd convert so it doesn't have bump maps. Most recolourers just screw 'em up anyway, I can't view 'em, didn't bother.

The three recolours pictured are included (Maxis originals).

Thanks to:
  • Tiggerypum, for telling me how to fix the asploding fat morph problem before I ever even had it.
  • Wes_h, for the Unimesh plugins for Milkshape, used in the creation of this mesh.
  • Dr Pixel, for all kinds of various bits of useful meshing info that have helped me along the way.
  • daysies, for being spiffy and cute, and for her kindness to llamas everywhere.
  • Everyone who has contributed to the creation and development of SimPE.
  • MTS2, the rest of the staff, and Delphy, for creating a such a fantastic place to learn and share information, so I could figure out how to do cool stuff like this.

Thank you!!! I thought it was strange that they left such a gorgeous dress only for teens. Especially since teens are teens for such a little time and they outgrow it!

Not only are you super-spiffy, but I think that now I'm going to buy GLS because this was probably my fave thing in the screens for it and I was upset when I saw it was teens only.

P.S. I love your alpha editable dress tops, and I can't believe there aren't a million recolors for it yet! Maybe I could try to do it, but I'm not so hot at it ^^;;

Edit: If I'd read the whole post, I'd have realised that I don't need GLS for this. Der! Why isn't there an embarrassed smiley? --;; The fact that this doesn't need GLS makes you super-duper spiffy!

Awesome work! Yeah it was a bit silly that it was only for teens, the only time you would have used would've been 50's Day at school!

Thanx ~ Syn

I too had to pick up my jaw from the floor when I saw that the ONE dress I wanted was for teens. Thank you for making it adult. HUGS TO YOU!

I also tested this lovely mesh, and it behaved normally in the base game. I tried, but could not get the sim to do anything that created any display glitches, so I assume that for the most part it will not cause problems for anyone. It's quite pretty.
