This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.

Hi people!

This is a recolor for my favourite; the Bubble Blower found in Misc/Party. The bubble blower is the perfect fun since it besides being fun also gives you comfort and you can hang out with a bunch of friends at the same time! I have really been missing a non eye watering recolor for it, and since I couldn't find any good "normal" recolors that were well made enough on the web I decided to make one myself.

This bubble blower is made to match the value bar you can find in the Misc/Party party section as well, it is white and beige. Simple white looked too plastic, and the darn thing has lots of bits and pieces to recolor so it wasn't too easy ;P At least it has some texture as the few other white recolors I found didn't have.

It's tested and works in the game. The bubbles obviously match the bubble blower. The cushions however are not included, they have to be recolored separately. The cusions in the picture can be found at The Sims Resource, here:

As requested I have made a black & silver recolor of the bubble blower, you can find it here:

I hope it can come to some use!

Are you sure that that blower comes without any expansion pack? If not, then please correct your upload.

...since I couldn't find any good "normal" recolors that were well made enough on the web I decided to make one myself.

Would you consider making a few more "normal" colors for this item? Every recolor I find seems to be fluorescent. I'd especially be interested in Black. Also, one that has a metal look such as gold or bronze. A glass one would also be appropriate as these materials are often used on the "real thing".

In the mean time, this beautiful white recolor will fit in with a lot more decor than the current choices of blues and purples. I like the way that it isn't ALL white, but tastefully decorated with beige. If you do more recolors, this same two-tone effect would look gorgeous. Perhaps a black one with gold trim if it doesn't look too tacky?

Oh, and I *think* that the bubbleblower came with the Uni EP.

Running: Sims2, Uni, NL, OFB, Pets, Seasons, BV, FT & AL. Patched.

What about a beige cushion for it?

Very good.
The reason I usually don't use the bubble blower is because the colors don't go with any of my schemes. This one will go nicely. And like mentioned above, a black recolor would be much appreciated.
