Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
No EPs required.

A neat little brick house on a 1x2 lot, furnished for 1–2 sims, with one tiny spare room. It has a fireplace in the livingroom, a fenced-in garden with terrace, and room for one driveway in front of the house.

1 x double bedroom
1 x single bedroom (empty)
1 x bathroom
1 x kitchen/dining
1 x livingroom

All basics included plus a TV, a stereo, a mirror and a fireplace. I've left room for a stove in the kitchen. Playtested in the Base Game.

There is an unfurnished version avaliable (fixtures only), that one costs 17.693§.

This lot is shrunk with Mootilda's LotAdjuster (v1.1, available here on mts2) – you can easily expand the lot with that if your sims want a bigger garden.

Have fun!

Lot Size: 1x2
Lot Price: 19.993§

The roof recolour shown in the screenshots is by Neveah223; it is not included with the lot but I'm attaching it as a separate zip.
Number of bedrooms: 2 Bedrooms
Custom Content Included: None
Furnishings: Fixtures Only Starter Furnishings

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

One day you're gonna wake up and realize how much you care for her--
And when that day comes she'll be waking up next to the boy who already knew.

Is there something special I need to know about roof files? I placed this file in my Lots folder in my Downloads folder, along with the file for the house. The house is there, but loads up in the game without the roof. The roof is not listed in the roof options in the game. What do I need to do?

ohh, i love the way you used your floor levels in this one, and that little roof over the entryway is genius. :P

I didn't test this yet, but I'll definitely use it for my 3-Sim Family - hopefully turning into 5, then back to 3 when Lloyd marries Shihna. XD

This is so cute the picture made me check it out.

These look great, but are soooo TINY! Do you do any kind of building tutorials? I'm super impressed with your work and would love to learn a few tricks as I love building and do most of the buildings in my game on my own. The basements and roofing are especially appealing (and intimidating!) :D
