Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
No EPs required.
No custom content.

Mini starter on a 1x2 lot, furnished for 2–3 sims, with fireplace, a small garden terrace, and room for one rotated driveway in front.

1 x double bedroom
1 x single bedroom
1 x bathroom
1 x kitchen/dining/living room

There is some additional space on the landing upstairs where you could put a desk or a dresser (there is one tile on that landing that sims have diffiulties to walk on, but going up and down the stairs works fine – I playtested). All basics included, plus a mirror, a stove and a coffee machine.

This lot is shrunk with Mootilda's LotAdjuster (v1.1, available here on mts2) – you can easily expand the lot with that if your sims want a bigger garden.

Have fun!

Lot Size: 1x2
Lot Price: 19.986§

The roof recolour shown in the screenshots is by Neveah223; it is not included with the lot but I'm attaching it as a separate zip since it's not available elsewhere.
Number of bedrooms: 2 Bedrooms
Custom Content Included: None
Furnishings: Starter Furnishings

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Your houses are so perfect. They are looking so good and are still cheap. And the way of architecture... I have no idea what to say...
No Doubt: You ARE the God of Sim-Architecture.

Dope-Johnny: "No Doubt: You ARE the God of Sim-Architecture."

I'd like to second that, and add that your houses are my absolute favorite to "pimp-out" using the money cheat. I love the shrunken lots, they help so much with my slower than slow computer. I look forward to any and all of your uploads! Thanks!

As you know, plasticbox, your houses are awesome. But it just always bugs me when you don't put a sink in the bathroom, or even leave space for one :[

In a vanilla game (no hacks), sinks in bathrooms are useless: sims don't wash their hands anyway, and worse they will do the dishes in the bathroom, blocking it for everyone else. I do sometimes leave space for one anyway, but I hardly ever put one in since there are more important things to have in starter houses.

(There are plenty of hacks to remove the stupidity, but still the hygiene gain from washing hands is marginal)

I just let them use the kitchen sink it's right next to the bathroom. No Biggie because even maxis starters don't always have them in the bathroom.

Woah. I was looking at it and I said, nah, that window HAS to be CC. But no, on closer inspection, it wasn't! I third it. Woop for starters etc.
