Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
It's been a while since my last lot was uploaded here but I still like building very much and I'm very glad with this special house:

With the help of many nice advisors in the Creator Feedback Forum I designed this contemporary living space. The lavish glass walls create a link between the inside of the house and the people living in it and the garden space outside. Many green plants, bushes and exotic palms grow around the housse as well as in the two roof garden levels.
The interior is modern but without getting cold and overstyled. Enjoy living in rooms equipped with beautiful furniture made of natural raw materials and designed to fit the simple but stylish appearance of the house.
etsura features luxurious amenities such as a big spa bathroom and two spacious bedrooms with another bedroom. Working in a kitchen like the one found here is mostly a pleasure. The office with view to the garden should stimulate everyones creativity! (The desk is not included; download it FROM THIS POST )
Tested in game!

The lot contains Numenor's WallWindow. You need the whole Basic Set to make them work. If you don't have it yet please download the 'WallWindow_Seamless_BASIC_set' from THIS POST . If you already have the WallWindows in your game and they work you don't need to do this.

I know that this lot uses quite many downloads. For those of you who prefer to furnish it with Maxis content or other CC I also included an unfurnished version. It is packaged with only a small number of downloads.

Unfurnished version specifications:
Price: 55,581
Size: 2x3
Fully landscaped and with indoor walls and stairs, doors, etc.!

Furnished version specifications:
Lot Size: 2x3
Lot Price: 111,673
Fully landscaped, with indoor layout, stylish wallpapers and all furnishings and decorations!

I hope that you like the design and layout, if so please remember hitting Thanks or write a comment!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

I hope that I've found a good mix ratio of playability and design.
Probably it's better to place some of the 45 degree objects with the normal angle but that's no big deal.

It's a lovely lot, but it crashed my game the first time I tried to load it. I tested all the individual CC files and found that the new desk was the culprit - attempting to view the object in the catalog also resulted in a crash, and removing the file made the lot playable again. I've got all the EPs up to Bon Voyage and am running the game on a Mac with no hacks or mods.

Still an awesome lot, though!

I remember seeing this on the Feedback forum. It turned out beautifully. I don't usually download homes since I like making my own, but this one is an exception. It's freakin' gorgeous. Thank you for all the work- much appreciated.

That's a serious issue, I'm sorry that it crashed the game and it's very nice that you tested it for me!
As I wrote the desk is and item I didn't publish yet and I can't exclude that it causes problems. I did test it in the game with BV as well as in a Basegame only environment and there were no issues at all.
PLEASE REPORT if someone else also experienced issues with the desk. If not I'd assume that it's an individual problem but if there are more problems I'll remove the desk from the package and test it again.
