Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This is #4 from my set of shops to accompany my set of homes inspired by the little thumbnail pictures of the buildings collected in "We Love Katamari," the second Katamari Damacy game. In that collection each shop had a blurb about it, which I've added below.

4-Fish Store

This store is full of fish. Cats stare at it from their nearby hiding place, waiting for their chance.

This is a residential lot for making a home business.

The pond is made to look like it's part of a next door park, but we all know where those fish are really coming from.

There is living space behind the shop, but it's more suitable for the elderly or those who don't want a family. I'm saying it's small.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Thanks for the love after so much time has passed. I say do it. I just gave up on TS3 and went back to 2 and my own Katamari Village, and I'm having so much more fun. :P

I gotta say, it's been months since I first saw this upload, and I haven't forgotten about it since. It might be one of my favorite custom lots! <3

This is so neat but does the fish really go in there for buying? Do the fish catch flies after they are left out awhile? How small is the place for a Sims 2?

Gosh, it's been years since I've played it, but yes, it was designed to be a functional fish selling shop. There is admittedly not a lot of room to live, but it worked out when I played it, with a small living room and bedroom, which can technically hold a double bed, if you want two sims running the shop. If you have problems talking to customers and then having to go around to get to the register, you may want to replace a counter or display with a lockable fence. I honestly can't remember if I had to do that or not, but looking at it now, maybe? I'm pretty sure the displays keep the fish fresh.
