Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This traditional farmhouse sits near a lovely fishing hole and a growing orchard and garden, just waiting for your sim to tend to it. The fully furnished home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a study loft, fireplace, and a cozy blue and brown color scheme. The apple orchard is thriving and the garden has onion, garlic, lettuce, tomato, potato, and grapevine, with plenty of room for additional plants as your sim collects them. This farm is on the 30x30 lot size for ease of placement, as there seems to be more empty lots of that size than any other. I hope you enjoy it.

Lot Size: 30x30
Lot Price: $40,781k furnished, $28,469 unfurnished

Number of bedrooms: 3 Bedrooms

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

OMG! Ruth this awesome! I had something like this in progress, accidentally deleted it, so i am so happy to see one up anyway. Yours is beautiful and the plants make it even cooler! I couldn't do that because every time i try to play, my game goes "KABOOM!"

Fact is, great house

I am very picky with the lots I download... I think this will soon be a favorite of mine.

This is one of the more practial lots I have seen on this site. Most of the buildings are very pretty, but I would not want to live in them, or have my sims live in them.

I added a barn in back, which is really just an oversized two story garage. It's rather tight, but I put this on a somewhat larger lot.

Also, I really don't get an exterior door to the bathroom. I can honestly say that I have never seen a bathroom in a house with an exterior door. That's just weird.

I don't think the upper floor makes particularly good use of space. Two of the bedrooms really can only hold a single bed, which is probably OK for a family with a couple of children. But these also seems to be a lot of wasted space.

Gorgeous house, this makes a lot of my houses look like junk, it fits the farm theme so beautifully, it reminds me of a real farmhouse I once saw.
Definitely gonna download and use it.
