This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

*Woot woot* Raise the roof! The roof, the roof, the roof is on
FIRE! We are gonna tear the roof off this place! I will pull out all the
cliches, all in an attempt to get you to use these roofs instead. I mean,
this picture clearly illustrates what I am talking about...

...see what I am saying? Don't go another day of using these maxis mad
roofs, because I am here to introduce the top of the line Qbuilderz roofs!
There are FORTY in total. That is four sets of ten, each offering a different
personality and diversity for your game. To see what these changes
include, as well as some information, click on the info button and enjoy!

Installation - Just pop them into your mods folder, and your good
to go!

So, I hope that you enjoy the roofs! I completely encourage you to use
them in your uploads, screenshots, stories, etc. etc. as that makes me
really happy. Any questions, comments, concerns, drop them down
below, I read everything trust me. Until next time guys!

Polygon Counts:
Not a mesh, not a recolor, it is a new file, non-default. No polygon counts in other words

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

You did a great job on these new roofs. Now I don't even like my own roof recolours anymore. *lol* Anyway, thanks for sharing with us - I think I'll be using your roof quite often in my future builds.

What's the blue roof on the left in the first screenshot? I'm assuming it's the Maxis roof, but those are dark grey.

Yes, it is maxis roof, and it is most definitely blue. Other than the fact that it looks blue to me in game, there is a file in S3PE appropriately named "noise". Adding a layer of blue over the texture. I would know as I had to go back through and replace it with a white version to show my recolor. The point of the picture is really meaningless, other than the fact to show the difference between theirs and mine and to throw in some lame humor.

Now streaming on at Twitch.tv/SeveralNerds or UglyHoesConnect.com - whichever is easier for you to type in your browser.

Gotcha. Thanks! It's not blue in my game, probably there's a difference in our color profiles or some other voodoo at work.
