This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

One of my favorite sets in The Sims 2 from the IKEA SP. This takes the original sofa and chair from Eaxis along with my loveseat mesh. Shown with a variety of patterns to hopefully represent different tiling.
  • 3 Recolorable Channels - Legs/Seat/Back cushion
  • Sofa found in Comfort/Sofas & Loveseats for $335
  • Loveseat found in Comfort/Sofas & Loveseats for $225
  • Chair found in Comfort/Living Chairs for $115

Each was cloned from the Designer seating so they take all default colors from those. I left them because they actually look good on it.

Polygon Counts:
Sofa - 2192
Loveseat - 2192
Chair - 1024

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I love the pillows are able to take a different color. Looks like I will have to get rid of the other one. I never got the Ikea Stuff pack, great to have this in Sims 3.

Thanks alot Lunie!

There is another conversion of this somewhere, but yours looks better and the back cushions can be recolored separately. That's great! Thank you!

Me too! That was my absolute uber-mega favourite stuff pack and... I want more! But. I totally suck at creating. Only thing I ever made was a Sims 2 floodfilled dress. So. Can you make more? Because. You did an AMAZIN job on this one.

Not only do these look good in game, I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened the catalogue to try them out to see an actual icon on the thumbnails! That extra little step is really appreciated! The down side to cc installed as .package files rather than through the launcher is the lack of icons to readily identify something as custom. LOL, won't have to worry about that problem with your stuff because your color choice for the icon really stands out! Love it!

BTW, I have tested this set with the WA ep and have not experienced any problems with it.
