This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.

Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Steampunk: All the elegance and romance of an era long past, with all the amenities and technology of today. Powered by steam and coated in a fine layer of wood and metal, these antique robots function as good as new. We also have, for the more industrious sims, a completely remade Steampunk Robot Crafter.

Because of troubles recoloring, the Steampunk Robot Crafter comes in two downloadable forms:
A basic recolor of the original crafting station with blue blueprints:

And a more old-fashioned clone of the crafting station with ink and parchment blueprints:

Also included in this package are the Steampunk Hover Station recolor and the Steampunk Rover Station recolor. After you build your robots, just use the design tool on their station to change the station into a more appropriate steampunk aesthetic. (Note: some parts of the stations are silver, as using station clones would be a hassle for the user and some parts of the stations were not recolorable.)
Fire, trash, food, burglars: all these things are no longer worries, because with these robots, you can rest assured you are in good hands! Until they run amok, but hey, these things have no warranty, so… not our problem!

Clothing from Garden of Shadows and Allaboutstyle.
Hair from Raonsims.
Furniture and clutter from Modthesims2 and GardenofShadows.

If you want a servo to go along with this set, check out Almighty Hat's beautiful wooden servo at GOS HERE.

These were originally a present I made for RenK for GOS Secret Santa, who has been sweet enough to let me upload these. I also want to thank her endlessly for her patience and support in waiting for me to upload these.

Huge HUGE thank to HugeLunatic and Echo for fixing my cloned recolor station for me. You guys are a lifesaver and this never would have been uploaded without you!

These are terrific, www!
I had attempted this same thing a while back, but ran into the same problems (non-recolourable bases and blue blueprints), so I abandoned it.
Your recolours look quite a bit like the ones I tried (take that as you will, it was meant as a compliment )
Truly inspired to clone the crafting station to get the blueprints done properly.
Nice work.

This looks pretty sweet, I can't wait to see it in game. I especially like the old parchment look of the blueprints. This will be great to help bridge the gap between my medieval sims and the more modern ones.

Awesome. I wish I still has Sims 2 installed.

::nab:: -- but I`d like some information on what, if anything, these *override* [as opposed to suppliment], and on what we can and cannot have in-game at the same time.

Is it possible to have <*both* <these and regular base-stations>> or <*both* <these and regular crafting tables>> or <*both* versions of your custom crafting station> in-game simultaneously? I, for one, would not mind an anacronisticly-mixed neighborhood.

In other words, I take it that I can have all of this stuff, and the original game items, in-game simultaneously. Thanks!
