Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
The name of this lot comes from the fact that it literally came from a dream of mine. Instead of designing this house around that dream however, I designed it for my friends. Since they love to entertain, I made sure to give them enough seating in the living room. All that aside, this moderistic house features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a 2 vehicle car port, a huge outdoor pool, and gorgeous landscaping all around! This house sits on a 40x40 sized lot and costs $190,068 furnished and $98,068 unfurnished. I hope you and your simmies will enjoy this, much happy simming to all. Please note I did use some custom content in this lot. The included CC is as follows:

Cushion Set from Awesims

Indoor Plants 1 from Lemoncandy

Much thanks to Lemoncandy for the plants and to Awesims for the cushions

Lot Size: 4x4
Lot Price: $198,068

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Very nicely done. It's hard to find modern houses that I like that aren't ZOMGHUGE but this is a nice size. Thank you.

I love your house. The front reminds me of a luxurious CA hills type house! I especially like the diagonal bar in the kitchen and the vaulted living room you can look down on from the second floor. Beautiful work!

LOL, don't feel bad, when I first booted up TS3 I had no idea how to do certain things, biggest and first thing I noticed was the camera, and that you could no longer just move the arrow to the edge of the screen and expect the camera to move, it's a learning process....And they say games rot you mind, well I guess "they" never played the Sims

Thank you all for your comments, it's much appreciated

@tralalabruno: You would have to move a sim family into the house. Otherwise the only way you could 'play' it would be building it.

0.0 Oh no, I'm asuming it is most likely lagging because almost everything on the lot has been customized, tell me how it works out for you

This is the nicest, most useable house I've seen on the site so far. I'm definitely going to be moving into it. Thanks for making this!
