Ghost House

This is the house in the neighborhood that all the sims whisper about. You know. The one your parents warned you to stay away from? There have been plenty of rumors of strange sounds and lights coming from that old place at night. O.O

This lot was built at 1 Remington Point in Riverview, which I think is a perfect location for a spooky abandoned house. The path looks cool leading up from behind the house…

Just a cool house your ghost hunter sims might enjoy, or maybe you would like it for a story or something.

Layout:

There is a cellar which is accessible from the backyard. It has three rooms, one of which is a bathroom.

There is a graveyard with a mausoleum.

The first floor is the living room, dining and kitchen.

The second floor is library, nursery, and bathroom

The third floor is three bedrooms, and a bathroom

There are lots of things for your sim to collect on this lot, but you will have to find out just what for yourself. =)

What I used from the store in the lot:

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I'd be downloading this in a heartbeat - but I don't have all the store items... would it still show up correctly? (I know, probably a stupid question...)
Anyway, this is a lovely house!

Edit: I know the store items wouldn't magically be downloaded into my game, but would they be replaced with base-game objects instead? (even more stupid question...)

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Hi TatianaEstelle, =) The only stupid questions, are the ones that are left unasked. Yes you are correct, the store items that you don't have, will be replaced with base game meshes. You should be fine to download.

Thanks folks!

This is a beautiful lot! Thank you for uploading it, by happy fortune all the store items have been gifted to me by lovely players, so this is one of those rare cases where my mood levels rose as I looked over the store content!

Great work. Such a lovely, strong atmosphere. Keep creating!

Love this house. My favorite part is the counters, I love items that look worn, and I have a feeling that a lot of my sims are going to have these counters in their home. My second favorite part is the siding, and my third favorite part is the house because the house is awesome.
